Our Owner Operators are valued members of our team. Sunset operates 95% in Texas, some in Louisiana and Oklahoma. If you pull our trailer we perform all maintenance and care with the exception of flat tires or damaged equipment. We offer several avenues of transportation work for our owner operators.

Our Owner Operators gross between $8,000 and $15,000 per month

Low cost liability insurance charged directly to the contractor

Small percent fee for occupational injury insurance

All permits provided at no cost (except optional 1547 - overweight)

Trucks may purchase fuel at Sunset terminal

Contractors are HOME DAILY -
Recycle products guaranteed home every weekend and some during the week

No touch freight and no forced dispatch

Sunset Logistics Driver Requirements:

Must be 25 years of age

Must have 1 year tractor trailer experience

No age restriction on tractor - must pass DOT inspection

Accidents and moving violations are reviewed on a case-by-case basis

Felony convictions reviewed on a case-by-case basis
