2008 MILLION MILE/OWNER OPERATOR OF THE YEAR BANQUET
CRST Malone hosted its yearly Million Mile/Owner Operator of the Quarter-Year banquet on Friday, September 19
th and Saturday, September 20
th. All honorees were treated to some of Birminghams finest food, a trip to the International Motorsports Hall of Fame in Talladega, Alabama, along with a tour of the track and a visit to Vulcan, the worlds largest cast iron statue.
Scott Shephard (President) and Kerry Miller (Director of Safety) presented each Million Miler with a plaque and either a watch or ring symbolizing their monumental accomplishments. The wives of the honorees were also recognized for their support and sacrifices to make these accomplishments possible. The evening wrapped up with the presentation of the Owner Operators of the Quarter: Mr. Marvin Godsey 2
nd Quarter 2008, Mr. Otis Lane 3
rd Quarter 2008 and Mr. Ray Ewing 4
th Quarter 2008. The banquet concluded with Mr. Otis Lane being named as CRST Malones 2008 Owner Operator of the Year.
